FLash image zoom tutorial

Step 1

  • Create a new flash Project ,
  • New flash file > Document (shortcut key: Ctrl+J ). Set the width of your document to 400 pixels and the height to 250 pixels.
  • Select any color as background color and set your Flash movie’s frame rate to 37 fps.
  • Change the layer name to Image
  • Import your Photo: File > Import > Import to stage (Ctrl+R) and import any photo into a flash stage. Ctrl+K and check this 3 steps.
  1. Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
  2. Click on the Align horizontal center button and
  3. Click the Align vertical center button.
  • While the image or object is still selected, hit F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol.

  • Now click on frame 30,40,50 and 60 and press F6 key.

Step 2

  • Go to frame 60 and select the Free Transform Tool (Q) and drag it (decrease it) see the picture below.

Step 3

  • Select the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the image that you just decrease.
  • Go to:  Properties Panel -> Filters tab -> Click on the add icon and select the Adjust Color filter. Make the adjustments as follow in the picture below.

  • Go back on the first frame and repeat Step 3 and Step 2.

Step 4

  • Go to frame 40, select  the Free Transform Tool (Q) and enlarge the image like in the picture below.

  • Now on frame 40 select the Selection Tool (V) and click on the image
  • Go to:  Properties Panel -> Filters tab -> Click on the add icon and select the Blur filter. Make the adjustments as follow in the picture below.

Step 5

  • Right-click  on the gray area between frame 1 and 30, frame 30 and 40, frame 40 and 50 and frame 50 and 60 on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu.
