We will use filters :
- Blur
- Bevel
- Glow
Step 1
- Create a new flash Project ,
- New flash file > Document (shortcut key: Ctrl+J ). Set the width of your document to 300 pixels and the height to 200 pixels.
- Select #999999as background color and set your Flash movie’s frame rate to 40 fps.
- Select the Text Tool (T) and go to the Character Panel.
Then, choose the following options:
- Select a Static Text field,
- Select Times New Roman as font.
- Choose 25 as font size and bold it,
- Select white as color,
- As the rendering option, select Use Anti-alias for readability.
- While the text is still selected, press F8 key (Convert to Symbol) to convert it into a Movie Clip Symbol.
Step 3
Now go to the Align Panel (Ctrl+K) and do the following:
- Make sure that the Align/Distribute to Stage button is turned on,
- Click on the Align horizontal center button and
- Click the Align vertical center button.
- Change the layer name to text
- now click on frame 30 and press F6 key.
Step 4
- Go back now on the first frame, select the Selection Tool (V) and click once on the Movie Clip (text) to select it. After that, go to the Properties Panel (Ctrl+F3) below the stage. On the right, you will see the Color Effect . Select Advanced on it, click on Settings button and choose the following options:

select FIlters tab on the right side, click on add filter icon and choose Blur, Bevel filter and Glow filter with the following options:
- Right-click anywhere on the gray area between the two keyframes on the timeline and choose Create Motion Tween from the menu that appear.
